Don't you have a headache, numbmess, dizziness, or paresis? Welcome to the Akaishi Neurosurgical Clinic. At our clinic you can have a neurosurgical examination using the magnetic resonance imagines (MRIs), and ultrasound sonography in cervical lesion by the neurosurgeon. You can have a diagnosis of headache, numbness, paresis, involuntary movement, visual disturbance, hearing disturbance, and so on. However, we do not offer an admission service nor are we provided with an operating room. If you are diagnosed to suffer from a disease that requires a surgical operation, you may be referred to any neurosurgical institution of your preference. A board neurosurgeon (authorized by the Japanese Neurosurgical Association) will then make your diagnosis and devise a medical recipe for you. You can also have a medical recipe for epilepsy, neuralgia, migraine, insomnia, and other neurological disorders. Only the Japanese public insurance is applicable.

MRI may find your brain tumor, cerebral infarction, hydrocephalus, some kind of congenital abnormalities, and etc. The MRA, or angiography using MRI without contrast media, may find your aneurysm, occlusion of major arteries, stenosis in major arteries, and other vascular lesions. If you have a pace maker, defibrillator, or other medical metal in your body, you cannot have an examination using the MRI. Depending on the status of your Japanese insurance policy, the estimated cost of an examination will be around ￥5,000 to ￥8,000 yen. Without a Japanese public insurance, the cost will be around ￥20,000 yen.

You can have medical check of your brain and cerebral arteries at our clinic. Our MRI can find your incidental lesions. Brain Health Check does not require Japanese public insurance. The price of a regular menu is only ￥20,000 (medical check of the brain and cerebral arteries using MRI).
